Privacy Policy

Dreamdock is operated by Dreamdock Labs, LLC, a California limited liability company. In this policy, "Dreamdock," "we" and "us" mean Dreamdock Labs, LLC. We help groups plan trips together. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We tried to write it in plain English.

The short version

• We never hold your money. Payments between friends move directly through services like Venmo or Zelle. Dreamdock tracks who has paid; it does not take custody of funds.
• Your budget is private. The maximum you're willing to spend is visible only to you. The group sees compatibility, never your number.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.

Information we collect

You give us: your email (to join the waitlist or an account), your name, and details you add to a trip: availability, a private budget cap, votes, RSVPs, and payment status you report.

Automatically: basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site and app are used (pages viewed, actions taken), so we can improve the product. We do not put your private budget or personal identifiers into analytics.

How we use it

• To run the features you use: matching dates, computing budget compatibility, tallying votes, and tracking commitments and payments.
• To contact you about your trips and, if you joined the waitlist, to email you about launch.
• To keep the service secure and to improve it.

How your budget stays private

Your maximum budget is treated as sensitive. It is used only to compute whether the group's options fit everyone, and it is not shown to other members, including the organizer.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to run Dreamdock, and only with service providers operating infrastructure on our behalf under contracts that limit their use of the data. These are Supabase (database, authentication and storage), Expo (app delivery and push notifications), Loops (email delivery) and PostHog (product analytics). We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or delete your information, and you can leave the waitlist at any time via the unsubscribe link. Contact us and we'll help.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as your account or a trip is active, and take reasonable measures to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
